After receiving my B.S. and M.S. in Biology from SUNY Brockport, I have spent
the last 20+ years in the environmental field, most of that time with the NYS
Department of Environmental Conservation (what higher ideal is there than public
service?).
Having lived in a number of places in eastern NY, NJ and North Carolina, I
reside now in a place called Delmar, with my wife of 20 years (Joyce), daughter
Vanessa (15) and son Craig (13).
History, philosophy and gardening have long been keen interests of mine. Other,
more energetic passions include backpacking (and hiking in general) and guitar.
Unfortunately, I hike better than I play.
