I live in Pacific Grove which is literally in
between Monterey and Pebble Beach. I can walk to each in 10 minutes. (I can
also walk to Trader Joe's, Safeway, and Albertson's).
I work for the State of California as an attorney
doing workers' compensation defense. I've been doing this since 1989 and I
really enjoy it (it beats working for a living). I'm on the state-wide board
of my union (www.calattorneys.org)
which represents most of the state-employed attorneys and judges (@3300). I'm
also on the board of my homeowners' association.
Those activities fully occupy me. And in my free time I try to construct our
alumni website. In 2003 I co-edited a book on workers' compensation with my
friend Todd McFarren entitled Workplace Injury Litigation (http://www.lawyersandjudges.com/showproducts.cfm?FullCat=45).
I have a wife and no kids and no pets. I plan to retire at age 62. I maintain the websites for this alumni association, my homeowners' association (http://theglenofpg.com), the California State Compensation Insurance Fund Attorney Association (http://SCIFAA.org), and my personal websites.
